DOUBLE FEATURE: The Arts Depot Fall Arts Season
Two unforgettable nights. One extraordinary season.
This fall, the Arts Depot presents DOUBLE FEATURE, a special Fall Arts Season bringing together two distinct events on two different nights under one cinematic theme.
On Saturday, October 17, the season begins with Night Gallery: A Celebration of the Macabre, our annual evening of art, atmosphere, and all things mysterious, this year expanded to include live storytelling featuring ghost stories, urban legends, and other tales perfect for an autumn night.
Then, on Saturday, November 14, the second feature takes the stage with The Depot Murder Mystery, an immersive evening of interactive theatre, mystery, and mid-century espionage inspired by the stylish spy thrillers of the 1960s.
Each event offers its own experience, tickets, and programming. Together, they make up the Arts Depot's 2026 Double Feature Fall Arts Season, two nights celebrating visual art, storytelling, theatre, and a little bit of the unexpected.
Choose one feature…or join us for both.

The Next Generation | A Young Artists Exhibition & Opening Reception
Join us as we celebrate the creativity, imagination, and accomplishments of the next generation of artists!
This special exhibition features original paintings created by students during this summer's Kid's Summer Art Studio, where young artists explored the vibrant work of pioneering American artist Alma Thomas while discovering their own unique creative voices.
Over three inspiring days, these students experimented with color, pattern, composition, and acrylic painting—learning that great artists don't copy the world around them, they interpret it in their own unique way.
Now it's time to celebrate what they've created.
Families, friends, and the entire community are invited to meet our young artists, view their original paintings, and encourage these talented students as they take part in their very first gallery exhibition.
Alcove Artists — Many Mediums, One Collective
The Arts Depot is pleased to present a special group exhibition featuring the ALCOVE Artists Collaborative of Jay County, opening July 24.
The ALCOVE is an eclectic collective of regional creatives, including painters, ceramicists, fiber artists, illustrators, musicians, foodists, and more, who work together to promote their art, encourage creativity, and support the arts throughout the region. While centered in Jay County, the collaborative also includes artists from neighboring communities, including Adams County.
Known for their “Paint Ins, Paint Outs & Pop Ups” throughout the Portland area, ALCOVE artists bring a wide variety of styles, mediums, and creative perspectives together in one vibrant exhibit.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet featured artists, explore original artwork, and purchase pieces throughout the exhibit. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided during the opening reception.
Join us for an evening celebrating regional creativity, artistic connection, and the wonderfully diverse spirit of local art.
The exhibit will also be open Saturday, July 25 and Saturday, August 1 during Heritage Days festivities. Follow for additional details and special event announcements.

Each student will:
Experiment and develop ideas through guided exercises

All students will also be featured in a community gallery exhibit later this summer.
