14 - 25 July: RC-ACT: Randolph County Academy for Children’s Theatre 3rd annual drama workshop by local thespian and school teacher Brad Hoggatt for students in grades 2-8: 14-25 July for Grades 6-8 and 21-25 July for Grades 2-5. Culminating in 2 live performances - at the Hoosier Place Community Theater and on the Main Stage during the State Line Heritage Days Festival. Registration closed.
19 July (7am—1pm) - “2nd Paint Out for Artists” Paint Out on-site at Farmland Conservation Club. AARC member artist Dorothy Banning is hosting this free event. Very scenic with big pond and lots of trees, wetlands, White River border, and lots of flora and fauna. Bring your own supplies As well as own food/drink. Restroom available in the Club House.
Directions from AARC: West on State Road 32; pass Winchester but before Farmland; turn right onto County Road 500 West (look for Conservation Club sign before road); turn left after a mile onto long lane into Farmland Conservation Club; park near clubhouse; setup where you desire.
Saturdays in July: Union City of OH-IN Farmer’s Market Fresh produce and baked goodies from local farmers and bakers under the depot’s portico. Exact starting date to be announced. Open from 8 to 11:30 am
30 July - 12 August : 5th Annual Summertime Photography Show Open to all photographers. To be held in conjunction with Union City’s State-Line Heritage Days. Organized by Randolph County Camera Club. 30 July to 12 August with special hours. Awards Ceremony and Opening Reception - 30 July at 7:00 pm

On the Gallery Walls: 5th Annual Summertime Photography Show Gallery hours: Tue - Fri: 10am-4pm Thurs: 10am-7pm Sat/Sun: 1-3pm
9 August (7am - Noon) - “3rd Paint Out for Artists” Paint Out on-site at Don Stocksdale’s farm. AARC member artist Don Stocksdale is hosting this free event. Paint the rustic gardens, apple trees and barn. Bring your own supplies as well as own food/drink. Restroom available.
Directions from AARC: North on Howard Street to “T”; turn left onto St.Road 28; turn left into circular driveway of 1085 West State Road 28; park out of the way of Don’s customers, setup wherever you desire.
19 August: “Chair-ished Memories: Recycling the Past ” A workshop to design and paint an old chair into a finished artwork. From 9am to NOONISH - Featuring mentoring from artists: Lynn Orr, Kathi McQueen and Barb Landess-Gentry Cost is $20 with your own chair—or $25 if the AARC provides chair. Registration required

Duct Tape Fun Workshop This workshop will feature solo or team on-site artworks that will culminate in a contest for Best of Show! Pairs, singles, families are all invited to get creative with duct tape. A short workshop will exhibit the “how-to’s” of duct tape art followed by creative creation and judging Registration required. 05 December: “First Friday” at the Arts Depot The AARC will host the Union City IN-OH First Friday Gathering at the historic Union City railroad Arts Depot. Held from 5:15-7:15 pm
11 December: Christmas In The City A night to celebrate and shop in Downtown Union City . Held in conjunction with numerous other merchants. The event is sponsored by the Union City Downtown Revitalization Group. The AARC joins the fun with 10-20% off at the Holiday Gift Gallery. Nibbles and live music on location
AARC’s Christmas Gift to the Community A special evening LIVE concert held in Winchester. Held in association with the Percy E. Goodrich Bandshell Trust. FREE to the public. Artist, date and time to be announced.
